Loan-Score Adds Jon McGuire as Chief Technology Officer

IRVINE, CA, April 30, 2008 - Loan-Score Decisioning Systems, an emerging leader in enterprise-class automated underwriting solutions, announced that it has named Jon McGuire as chief technology officer. Mr. McGurie brings more than 10 years of mortgage technology experience to Loan-Score serving in key development and integration roles as a lender, vendor and consultant.

Mr. McGurie holds deep domain knowledge in an array of lending technologies ranging from loan origination systems, automated underwriting and decisioning systems, information technology management, software-as-as-service (SaaS), service-oriented architecture (SOA), Web Services, MISMO and more. As CTO, he will drive Loan-Score's development strategy to engineer new products and enhance the company's solution offering to deliver highly configurable, flexible and scalable solutions that easily integrate with disparate systems using next-generation Web services and contemporary architecture design.

"I have worked with Loan-Score's rules engine and automated underwriting system at several companies in the past," said McGuire. "The opportunity to help take Loan-Score to the next level was very attractive to me, and I have already recruited several talented developers to join the development team. The current downturn in the mortgage industry has opened up tremendous opportunities for those vendors whose development efforts and architecture design is well positioned to transcend beyond what older technology platforms can offer. My team's experience and contemporary approach to software engineering will be instrumental in helping to catapult Loan-Score into becoming the industry's leading enterprise decisioning and risk mitigation software automation firm. I am excited and optimistic about where the company's long-term strategic vision is headed and the potential for growth when the market strengthens."

Most recently, Mr. McGuire served as a principal at ex10sion, Inc., a custom mortgage technology software firm that designs applications to automate the lending process from lead distribution, decisioning, document preparations, integration and wiring. Mr. McGuire was instrumental in helping ex10sion achieve 300%+ growth from 2006 to 2007.

Before ex10sion, he worked as the director of business applications and development at Stonecreek Funding, a national mortgage banker that originated and sold subprime loans. Previous to Stonecreek Funding, he worked at Philadelphia-based Wilmington Finance where he was in charge of custom development for both internal and external applications.

Prior to Wilmington Finance, Mr. McGuire was a subject matter expert at Provantedge Technologies, a well-known loan origination system (LOS) provider that ascended to the top of the market at an unprecedented rate. Before that, he was the secondary marketing officer at U of C Federal Credit Union where he was responsible for locking and selling all loans to FNMA. In addition, he ran the credit union's servicing department. He has also worked in various capacities at Wells Fargo Home Equity, formerly Norwest Direct.

Mr. McGuire is a frequent speaker on mortgage technology panels, most notably talking on the subject of lending processes automation and system integration to help bankers run their business more efficiently. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
